Welcome!
I am a Christ-follower, wife, and mother. My husband and I have been navigating life as a military family together for 18 years. We have two children, a daughter who is 13 and a son who passed away unexpectedly 4 ½ years ago at the age of 10. I am a homeschooler, nature-lover, reader, crafter, baker, gardener, and dog walker. I love nothing better than hanging out with our families, who live in Michigan and Wisconsin. I plan to write about my grief journey as well as other things that catch my interest. I pray that in writing and sharing, God would continue to heal me and encourage others.
I chose the name of my blog "Carrying Sheaves" from Psalm 126:5-6: "Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them."
